A trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to their client before, during and shortly after childbirth to help them achieve the healthiest, most satisfying experience possible.
What exactly is a IBCLC?
IBCLC stands for International Boar Certified Lactation Consultant. An allied healthcare professional who has robust hands-on training and education in evidence-based breastfeeding management. An IBCLCs preperation and practice is governed by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners.
